This turn of the century property was built and developed by the Allen family who have a long standing relationship and heritage in the surrounding area. Today Morrinsville is supported by a strong and viable farming community with the Tatuanui Dairy Company a source of employment for locals.
Bed and Breakfast accommodation is offered at the homestead, which exudes quality and style and is nestled among beautiful mature oak trees and landscaped gardens at the end of a tree lined driveway, your total privacy is guaranteed. The Lodge has three guest bedrooms, one with king bed, one queen bed and one with two single kings beds. All rooms have luxurious linen and pillows, room safe and television. Generous local produce breakfasts are included in the tariff and evening meals are available on request featuring NZ wines/beers.
Swim in or just relax by the pool with BBQ meals, try your hand at clay target shooting, play petanque, croquet or outdoor giant chess or wander the parklike gardens and marvel at the birdsong.
In addition to Bed and Breakfast the lodge is suitable for weekend retreats, meetings/day seminars/small conferences, social functions, garden tours, birthdays, Anniversaries, Company Xmas Functions and other special events.
The Lodge is situated on Horrell Rd just 3 kms from the centre of Morrinsville. Horrell Rd is accessed from State Highway 27 to the North and State Highway 26 to the South.
